French Canopy
French canopies are a stylish and functional addition to any doorway or window area.
Suitable for both commercial and domestic use, French canopies can be fully customized to complement the architecture of any building.
With the capability to span wide areas and project up to 2000mm, these canopies provide full coverage for balconies, terraces, and decking/tiled areas.
Canvas and PVC are the preferred fabrics for French canopies, with optional signage available for commercial applications.
Clarks’ French canopies are the only fully engineered canopies certified to meet Australian standards. Due to our commitment to quality, we were recently commissioned to install French canopies at the historic Flinders Street Railway Station.
Wedge Canopy
Wedge canopies are a stylish enhancement for any property, perfect for use as door or window canopies.
Suitable for both commercial and domestic applications, Wedge canopies can be fully customised to complement the architecture of any building.
With the ability to span wide areas and project up to 1500mm, they provide full coverage for balconies, terraces, and decking/tiled areas.
Canvas and PVC are the preferred materials for Wedge canopies, with optional signage available for commercial use.
Dutch Hood Canopy
Dutch hoods are traditional window and door canopies characterised by horizontal lines and gently curved edges.
They can be crafted up to 6000mm in width and project up to 2000mm, utilising custom bent aluminium extrusion rather than the cheaper alternative of cast riveted corners. Larger sizes are available upon request.
The classic shape of Dutch hoods makes them an excellent choice for period homes, while also achieving impressive results in modern architecture.
Canvas is the preferred fabric for Dutch hoods. As the largest manufacturer in Victoria, we offer two different radii: 150mm and 300mm. We have installed Dutch hoods on many heritage-listed homes both state-wide and interstate.
Bow Canopy
A bow canopy can be installed as a window canopy or door canopy.
With its radial shape a Bow canopy can give an entrance way or front façade that extra edge it might need to get away from boring!
Fully customised a Bow awning can be made to almost any size with a basic rule of thumb that the height and projection equals half the width.
Alternate sizing can be made to create flatter or elliptical shapes commonly known as elliptical canopies or eyelid canopies.
With all manufacturing done in house we can create a shape only limited by imagination.

We had external roller shutters installed that wound up being manufactured the incorrect colour – we noticed this after the fact. Once Clarks was notified, Glen personally organised to come out and see what had been installed and discuss rectification. He immediately organised for new shutters to be remade in the colour we wanted.

I bought my security door from Clarks 18 years ago, last night it paid for itself. Despite a vigorous attack by a heavily drug affected, violent swine the door held solid and he couldn’t get past it. The door didn’t survive, but it was the only casualty. I’m immediately back to Clarks for the replacement, because performance counts.

Top notch in all aspects. Just had some roller blinds installed and I’m really happy with how they came out. Despite how flat out everyone is at the moment (and COVID), arranging a time for a measure was easy, the guy who came out initially was friendly, knowledgable to accommodating and was easily able to provide a solution to an issue that I wasn’t sure how to get around.
A few weeks later installation was booked in and the installer was on time to the minute, did a great job and was in/out within 40 minutes. The price quoted was quite competitive and the quality of work was high.
